Annette Cannon received her law degree from the University of Florida. She received her undergraduate degree from Florida State University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. Cannon was a member of Gold Key, leadership honorary and was a Phi Beta Kappa.
Cannon is admitted to the United States District Court Southern District and the United States Court of Appeals for the eleventh Circuit. She is a member of the American Bar Association.
Cannon is active in the Florida Bar where she is a member of the Employment and Labor Section as well as the Workers’ Compensation Section. Cannon is active in Dade County Democratic Party.
Cannon is certified as a circuit court mediator by the Florida Supreme Court.
Prior to mediating with Center for Conflict Resolution, Cannon has held positions in the insurance defense related fields. Her primary focus was workers’ compensation and labor law.
